Prologue
Before going on the trip, we decided we wanted a digital camera. We first bought a JVC digital camcorder, but were
unhappy with the performance and quality of the pictures. So, we took it back and got the Olympus D-450 Zoom. All of the pictures
in this travelogue are from that digital camera. Any blurriness in the pictures is because we jiggled the camera.

Day 1: Monday
The two happy adventurers, ready for the trip
Our flight left at 2:30pm from Dallas and went to Charlotte. From there, we changed to a large jet for the 7 hour flight across the
Atlantic. We were due to arrive in London at 7AM, so it was important that we rested on the plane in order to keep going the next day.
This is much easier said than done; Scott got about 2 hours of sleep and Ken didn't sleep at all. Crossword puzzles, Pokemon on the Gameboy, and Rummy helped the time pass.
We arrived safely at London's Gatwick airport about 7 in the morning on Tuesday.
